“The Cosmic Explorer” Bad Bubble absolutely knocks it out of the park with his reimagined version of Angie Kuske’s “Alive”.

If there is one word I’d use to describe Bad Bubble, then that word would be audacious. I absolutely admire him for his unapologetic authenticity and willingness to push the limits of genres and sounds to come up with fully realized, epic tunes within the realms of synthpop, dream pop, psych pop, and ambient soundscapes, telling heartfelt narratives his way and ensuring that he gets to the heart of each and every composition he is involved in. Music has been his companion throughout his life, and through his seemingly lonely state, he has found a way to transform all his imaginations, thoughts, and perspectives into melodies with near-universal appeal, and that truly is the mark of an accomplished musician who is leaving his indelible mark within this transient space.

The track “Alive” is an original by another indie artist, Angie Kuske, that Bad Bubble heard, and it left a lasting impression on him. He complimented her on it, and they became fast friends. That’s how he asked her if he could reimagine the track, and she gave her blessing immediately.

This new reimagined version has been meticulously crafted in Bad Bubble’s signature ambient style as he takes a listener into his sonic sphere with a stunning showcase of synths, ethereal pads, some organic components, and his hauntingly beautiful dreamy vocals.

He ensures a listener remains grounded through his undeniably pensive vocals, sliding through the track with subtle confidence and taking the listener all the way. The instrumentation is well chosen and offers the perfect backdrop that attractively supplements his reflective and immensely expressive voice.

The accompanying visual treat is such an eye-catching sensation and the perfect complement to this song, in both allegory and symbolism.

This is such a quality piece within the first-class synth-pop genre and a tune that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to any music fan out there.
