Multitalented Croatian singer, dancer, actor, and model Berislav Sertic’s single, “Can You Save Me” showcases the artist’s effortless authenticity!

The multi-gifted artist Berislav Sertic has consistently proven to be in a creative league of his own; he is constantly evolving in all his creative capacities with an outlier perspective, and with the track “Can You Save Me”, which was featured in the 2022 short film “LAKE MEAD – A VEGAS STORY,” with Berislav Sertic playing the role of Boris, this synthetic raw masterpiece saw this unique musician unlock yet another creative renaissance.

Instead of relying on destiny, Berislav Sertic carved out a unique future through his art. “Can You Save Me” depicts the harsh realities of a man lost in his own dark past, engulfed in total darkness with nowhere else to run to as he leaves behind a world he refuses to return to. For a man like him, not even violence can offer salvation, but perhaps love can, as he is, after all, someone capable of being loved and loving despite all the bad things that have happened to him in the past, making him broken…but not beyond repair!

From the outset, the synthetic wave captures the listener’s attention with striking sawtooth synth leads that beautifully soar through the mix, establishing themselves as a dominant component without overpowering the song.

The instrumentation is impeccably balanced, showcasing some incredibly dynamic parts and complemented by the retro influences that hit a listener right in the nostalgia.

Berislav’s incredibly rich velvety tones slide through the track captivatingly as he breathes life with his exceedingly expressive voice, which is ideal for the genre.

The music video is another highlight of this track; the incredible, film-like visuals perfectly capture the song’s narrative and essence and elevate the message to newer and greater heights.

“Can You Save Me” is such an outstanding body of work that is really cathartic and transcendental in its own right.
