Big Sexy’s “My Temporary Silence” is indeed a tune so good and moving, angels could sing along!

Big Sexy is the sonic creation of indefatigable duo Gary Maccagnone and Alex Goroshko. This is a band that reaches listeners right there, where their hearts, bodies, minds, and souls converge with music that transcends mere sonic appeal. A shining example of their heartfelt creations is perfectly enveloped in the album “River Of Shame” where they give us a part of them—the music dripping from the very limitless source of their personal experiences and the world around them. Simply put, the music feels more like an extension of the artists themselves. With a growing catalog that has equally been matched by an expanding fanbase, Big Sexy is truly living the dream of connecting with its listeners through good music.

“My Temporary Silence” tells the moving story of a young autistic boy and his caretaker—encapsulating this silent experience of a young boy who would want to do so much but also feels so limited due to his condition…this is an emotional expression to anyone who cares enough to listen to his mind; – something so emotional and touching as well.

Immediately capturing the emotional essence of this track, Big Sexy warmly and humidly embraces us with the gentle piano keys that set such a smooth tone for the song, backed by the equally emotive voice of Gary as he starts painting the track’s inspiration with vivid expression.

The tender piano tones are accompanied by the stringed symphony, creating a subtle orchestral feel around the song whilst elevating its emotional intensity. The general mood becomes so compassionate with the equally forbearing lead vocals underscoring the song’s touching quality.

Around the 55 second mark, the drums and bass are eased in, adding some lenient depth to the song as the memorable chorus stamps itself on the permanent side of the brain, ensuring that it keeps on playing even after the song is no more.

The sonic and emotional intensity is again upped around the 1:30 mark as Big Sexy augments the tempo of the guitars, drums, percussion, and string instrument, equally matching the intensity through the emotionally charged lead vocals, wrapping around a listener with a vibrant tempo.

“My Temporary Silence” is the kind of song that attractively goes through stages, perfectly mirroring its powerful inspiration, and the delivery here leaves nothing to be desired. It is a quality performance from a band at the peak of their creative freedom.

For lovers of indie, pop, rock, alternative, country, roots, and kindred subgenres, “My Temporary Silence” is a must-have. It is little surprise the song has already amassed over 11K Spotify streams in such a short period of time.

Check the track below and enjoy it to the best of your ability.
