Serbia-based band Bones in Butter have a new engrossing masterpiece dubbed “Down but Not Out.”

Fronted by Milutin Kraševič, Bones in Butter is a 6-piece band based out of Belgrade, Serbia who pride themselves on their non-conformism; not particularly restricted to just one kind of style whilst also managing to maintain a consistent brand, their sound seamlessly blurs the lines between a wide range of genre definitions and creative ideas. Their sound combines the energy of all forms of contemporary rock with the melodic edge of an electric light orchestra, which sets the bar higher in terms of versatility and focus!

Wondrously performed, affectionately written, and unreservedly bursting at the seams courtesy of its mammoth heart, Bones in Butter’s exemplary eclectic-infused tune “Down but Not Out” is just the track that makes you feel better about yourself; and whether it’s the profoundly courteous way in which the tune fastidiously blends its entrancing lyrics, mood-uplifting melodic grandeur, or adorable sense of character, or the unequivocally warm and welcoming way in which it ushers a listener into its caring and hope-inducing open arms; this is a tune most listeners will undoubtedly find both beyond pleasure and exhaustively engaging from start to finish.

The self-assured vocals from the lead vocalist gently brushes a listener’s eardrums, and it almost feels like the band is performing this tune to you live! The contemporary melodies cut across melodious rock scintillatingly and are relaxing in ineffably beautiful ways—this is not your usual angst-fueled rock; this is affecting and complemented by a prolific set of instrumentation.

The delicate and compassionate lyrics are performed with a particularly tenderly nurtured type of vocal presence that is perfect and really brings out the gentle nuance and emotional features of this authentic tune.

There can be no complaints on the melodies and harmonies side, with the band working closely together to ensure that every instrument, from the bass to the guitars, and drums, fits coherently into the anatomy of the sound structure. The mixing and mastering are also of a high standard!

“Down but Not Out” is the kind of music you just listen to on repeat for a large chunk of your day with a seemingly huge bowl of macaroni and cheese as you give an ode to the soft life and feel alive from the quality of sound emanating from your sound system!

And now that I’ve given you an idea; make the most of it by following the attached link and getting right into the business of Bones in Butter (I can assure you that they won’t mind the intrusion!).
