Pennsylvania’s hip-hop and rap savant Butta Luciano lays down some slick and authentic bars with “Where I’m From”

When it comes to hip-hop and rap music, I’ll always choose authenticity over anything else, and that’s why I’ve been over the moon lately for discovering an original emcee coming out of Pennsylvania going by Butta Luciano. Look, it’s not a slight against other rappers, but there has been an influx of ‘wannabe’ rappers who just rap for the sake of it, but Butta is the real deal; every time he steps into the booth, fireworks are sparked as he brings his A-game, blending masterful and unorthodox flows with wise perspectives and thought-spurring observations and proving each and every day that he belongs to the ivy league, just as your popular mainstream acts.

I recognize talent when I see it, and Luciano has a phenomenal gift when it comes to rap music. He’s got that unmatched stage presence and exudes such charisma and confidence every time he delivers.

He can conceive ideas instantaneously just from feeling the beat, as he did with the track “Where I’m From.” It was one of those beats that spoke to him in different ways, and when he started rhyming, he just went on and on, laying some slick and authentic bars and making a statement by the end of it.

He’s authentic and not overtly confrontational, yet he delivers with intensity while exuding the maturity and experience of an artist who has been in the game long enough to know when to create what hits.

The beat is catchy, hypnotic, and dense, not overdone, and offers solid support for Butta’s expressive vocals as he transports the listener into his world, vividly painting pictures and provoking thoughts with his textbook rap approach.

This track is not short of infectious hooks, which means that it will remain stuck in your brain long after it has finished playing.

A raw masterpiece by any standard, “Where I’m From” is a next-level project for this imaginative hip-hop maestro and a huge testament to his limitless creativity and versatility both as a musician and storyteller.

With an eye-catching visual on YouTube, this is a must-have for any genuine hip-hop enthusiast!
