Eclectic electro dance music creator and performer Dress Code’s latest EP, “Electric Desire” embodies stunning innovation and first-rate sound design!

Dress Code, the brainchild of Derek Holley, explores the infinite sonic rabbit holes, stretching the limits of his imagination in the best ways possible to produce music that is irresistibly contagious within the realms of electronic dance. He has been flipping the music world on its head with his heavily eclectic genre that masterfully mixes electro dance aggression with urgent industrial textures from punk and rock for one seriously tasty sound drawn directly from the source. He weaves all these dynamic elements together to craft a sonically intriguing sound that is hard to describe but easy to listen to.

Transporting listeners to worlds of his own creation, Dress Code returns with an epic, refreshingly innovative 5-track EP dubbed “Electric Desire,” taking them through different realms with each track.

The opener, “Electric Desire” really encapsulates what this EP is all about. The tune is stunningly catchy and infectious, with some incredibly shredded rock guitars over the electro foundation, punk influences, and captivating vocals that give it that memorable feel for a listener to keep coming back for more.

“Break Through” features an ear-catching bass that harmonizes perfectly with the electronic cadence, achieving the track’s intention. The arrangement is lovely, and the execution is immaculate.

“Groove of You” immediately makes you want to dance; it has got the head-bopping, foot-tapping retro vibes and is such a boisterous masterpiece that is best enjoyed at maximum volume!

“Rocking It” revels in its definite sense of cinematic allure and unmistakably brilliant robotic demeanor, making for an unforgettable experience that is dynamic and immersive. I love the instrumental interplay here; it really adds depth and elegance to the mix and injects the song with that refreshing complexity, making it a bona fide standout.

“False Alarm” for me feels like the smoothest track from the EP and boasts such a mellow yet powerful production that wraps around the lyrics like a warm embrace, lingering in a listener’s mind long after the song ends.

There you go folks, “Electric Desire” is a standout masterpiece from head to toe that fans of electro dance, punk, and rock will certainly appreciate.
