Eric Rush’s much-anticipated “Blessed” BIG Records release finally has a date: February 3, 2023!

One thing about Erick Rush: he has always held hip hop at the forefront of his heart ever since he discovered its beauty. I came to know of this first-rate lyricist through his “Culture Shock” album, and I was just astonished at such a level of musicianship from such a young GOAT who is making all the necessary and right steps towards achieving his musical dreams. And it actually doesn’t get better than an immigrant with just a dream going on to own the highest of stages and leave an indelible mark that will be talked about for generations!

As a well-traveled musician, Eric Rush has definitely interacted with a myriad of cultures, and he ingeniously tries to present that in his music while also honoring the core elements from which the sound was built upon. That is what makes his craft unique and deeply relatable with his dedicated fan base!

After teasing the release of his new jam “Blessed” for a while now, we finally have the date for its BIG Records radio release: February 3rd, ladies and gentlemen, and tell you what, it is definitely worth the wait!

Linking up with Jimmy Wiz who sent him this sound, this is one timelessly distilled body of work that cannot be denied by any rap purist. I just love how, first of all, the sound takes you back to a time in the early 90s with its nostalgic vibes reaching the core of emotional gratification!

While Erick Rush had no instant ideas when this track was sent to him, he certainly ate it up and left no crumbs behind! Such are his inspirational and real-life inspired punchlines that it feels like cruising along an unending smooth highway on a LAMBO!

“Blessed” is about the gratitude and appreciation for everything good and bad that has happened to both the artists and is in turn reflected on its listener, who must have a lot to be thankful for in the year that has passed.

This is what conscious and authentic hip-hop sound tastes like, and I am sure hip-hop pundits will have a feast with it once it is out. For now, you get to pre-save “Blessings” by following the attached link so as to put yourself in a better position when it officially drops!

Follow Erick Rush everywhere so as to stay in the loop on his other upcoming projects.
