Gospel artist and Christ’s minister Feranmi James delivers a powerful and uplifting performance with the song “Jesus we lift you high”

Feranmi James, a gospel artist, uses his music to spread messages of hope and light. Borrowing from scripture, his music echoes the gospel truth as captured in the Bible, as he seeks to win more souls for Christ through his music and his sermons. Atrocities, adversity, and hopelessness are stifling our world. Sometimes we all look for hope where it can’t be found and depend on others to help us, forgetting that they are just humans like us and will more often than not fall short. So, let’s look to God, from whom all our help comes and remember what God has always told us: ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. Music is James’ passion. He feels it in everything he does, and through his love for music, he tries to share what he has learned about the goodness of Christ.

The song “Jesus we lift you high” feels like an experience. Its magical and moving nature engulfs you, making you feel like a part of it. The depth of the message is even more fulfilling, and the backing choral harmonies elevate the song to new heights.

The smoothly played piano sets the tone right before the punchy drums and powerful guitars accentuate the weight of the instrumentation, laying a perfect foundation for the choir to enter at approximately 23 seconds, “Jesus we lift you high, there is no one like you…”

Their beautiful choral vocal harmonies envelop the listener with a warm embrace and set the foundation, so when James enters around the 1:09 minute, a listener is already feeling the music and embraces James’ emotive voice wholeheartedly.

This blissful blend of James’ lead vocals and the enchanting backing choir vocals goes on and on as the deep message resonates with new meaning every time. This song exalts Jesus Christ and acknowledges him as the one true God whose everlasting presence, grace, and never-ending goodness cannot be debated.

A true praise and worship tour de force, I hope you feel the message as you sing along, experiencing music that comes from deep within.
