Experience the musical humor of one Funny Designs with “My Favorite Things Song Parody Sung by My Dog, Rover – with Funny Lyrics”

Funny Designs describes himself as a humorous individual who writes song parodies and sells funny t-shirts through his online store, www.funnydesigns.com. For him, life is never that serious, as he finds humorous ways to pass on information while earning a living from it. Simple, fun, outgoing, courageous, and friendly are some of the words I’d use to describe him. And for what it’s worth, I find his humor contagious. I mean, I have just discovered the guy on Instagram, and he has been able to provoke hysterical, belly-chuckling laughter with his various posts. As to if he’s intentionally or unintentionally funny, that depends on your sense of humor!

Returning to his parody songs, as a dog owner, Mr. Funny Designs decided to create the song, “My Favorite Things,” adopting the persona of his dog, Rover, and taking inspiration from the musical “The Sound of Music” by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein.

Rover sings about his favorite things, to do when he is not looking all confused trying to make sense of the world around him, snoring loudly when sleeping, begging for treats, tail-chasing, or the occasional darting back and forth with seemingly boundless energy.

Taking on the melodic influence of a musical, the lyrics are obviously hilarious and paint vivid imagery thanks to how expressive and straight-forward they are.

Through Rover, any dog owner can be able to see their dogs or parts of them as the artist draws out some hilarious observations, keeping things interesting throughout the track’s length.

The accompanying animation makes the song more exciting, engaging, making it worth every second. If you’re curious about your dog’s favorite activities beyond their goofy expressions, goofy grins, wide-eyed stares, and ‘derp’ faces, consider playing this song to your dog every other day before its meal time…you might uncover many unknown aspects of your dog’s behavior. Isn’t that amazing?

A certified dog anthem, “My Favorite Things” by Rover is an effortlessly likeable musical soundtrack worth the check!
