Punk band Hysterics’ single “Issues” is a murderous blend of deep-seated emotions and carefree energy

From Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, Hysterics embody the raw, untamed essence of grunge and punk, channeling a sonic force that is gritty, relentless, and impossible to ignore. Their music is a visceral rush, an electrifying energy that courses through the body, shaking every nerve with its raw intensity. With frenetic guitar riffs, pounding drums, and vocals that cut through the chaos like a blade, Hysterics are bringing back the danger, the rebellion, and the beautiful mayhem that once defined punk.

In a world where punk and grunge sometimes feel tamed, Hysterics bring back the danger, the grit, and the beautiful, glorious mayhem. Hit tracks from their latest release “Hormones” such as “Issues”, “Do It To Yourself”, and “The Motivator” are classic examples of a band that was born ready for this kind of raw and untamed music.

“Issues” features some deep-seated emotions about the after-impacts of childhood traumas on an adult. Right from the get-go, the track features a thunderous riff-driven sensation that is backed by cutthroat drums, providing a fully charged backdrop for the vocal assault of the lead female vocalist, who is a fierce marvel on that mic.

The more the song progresses, the more immersive, haunting, and emotionally charged it gets, wrapping around the listener with a heartfelt and energetic embrace, significantly provoking some spiritual feelings.

“Issues” is the kind of track that works well with a live performance, and knowing how on stage, Hysterics are pure chaos in the best way possible, I can already foresee this crammed performance as the explosive energy turns the venue into this battleground of sweat, headbanging, and unfiltered catharsis. Hysterics set the stage ablaze with an explosive presence, turning their live shows into an unstoppable force of energy and chaos.
