Up-and-coming artist Jack Loris delivers a powerfully vulnerable performance with “Just Hold On”

From Downers Grove, Illinois, Jack Loris is a modern-day soul poet whose music is drenched in passion, wrapped in genre-defying production, and always reaching for something higher. He’s a sensual architect and a master of emotional alchemy, balancing raw passion with intricate sonic textures and poetic depth. His voice is rich and deep, soulful and agile, capable of floating over ambient synths or soaring through charged guitars. Listening to his jam “Just Hold On,” I’d say that his vocal delivery is hypnotic, drawing the listener into a space that’s as much about feeling as it is about listening.

“Just Hold On” is a masterpiece rooted in emotional honesty. Guitar-driven with an unmistakable pop structure that is as tight as it is gentle, Jack Loris embraces an inspirational tone, reflecting on the past struggles and heartaches and the triumphant reflection on personal growth, resilience, and unexpected healing.

The way Jack delivers it with such heart and soul, it feels like it is coming from a personal space—the essence of coming out the other side of a heavy emotional or life-altering experience, maybe heartbreak, depression, loss, or a period of deep self-doubt.

There’s a kind of quiet strength in his emotion-drenched voice and the way he says that he’s doing fine, but also a vulnerability in the surprise of having made it through. It is the case of one not believing that they will survive, but now that they have, they’re standing in awe of their own strength.

The guitar-driven, soulful pop production adds a warm, uplifting energy to the song, making it cathartic and emotionally open with a bit of grit.

“Just Hold On” is the kind of track to offer hope to anyone going through a dark time. It is a reminder that healing isn’t linear, but it’s possible.

The title “Just Hold On” fits perfectly — a simple but powerful mantra, urging listeners to stay grounded through their own storms.

In essence, this track is a self-empowered anthem for anyone who’s battled their demons and found light on the other side — even when they didn’t expect to.

Already included in Spotify’s “Best pop songs of all times – Pop Hits All In One Playlist” which has over 24K saves, it is safe to say that this jam is an ear candy that has found its audience and deserves critical acclaim.
