Jean M. Nelson is the jack of all trades and the master of all whose scale of talent touches on the core elements of cinematography, photography and music production, he is also a singer and songwriter, whose music is as diverse as his other talents.
A true renaissance man. And from the mind that holds all these aptitudes comes an upcoming release that’s as romantic as it is upbeat. The main inspiration for his yet-to-be-released single “Dragon Fly” was Jean’s own relationship with the women in his life.
“Dragon Fly” is the title track to his forthcoming EP and is the result of careful, deliberate reflection on the chance encounters that first brought him together with the one.
His vocals are so pure and warm and the way they float over the splendorous instrumental bed creates a near-mystic scene. This is one of the most captivating things which will definitely grab your attention- the raw and polished vocals as he displays a wide vocal range to engineer a tune that you simply cannot get enough of.
He ebbs and flows faultlessly and occasionally delivers the intoxicating hook that pulls a listener in and makes you fall in love with the track tenfold. “Dragon Fly” has all the qualities of a radio staple and something that appropriately compliments the sonic ambiance that would otherwise evoke happy memories.
With the upbeat convectional varied-instrument setup perfect for releases that are designed for live performance, Jean has successfully managed to put forth a seductive yet honest piece of music. And indeed “Dragon Fly” does sound like the sort of track that’s made for the stage, what with its plentiful instrumental adornments. Much so that it does make you wish you could find a way to attend his concert one day — by the way, if you were wondering, this is my bar for good music: how readily it urges you into a live audience with its author/singer.
Jean M. Nelson is set to release this tune on worldwide digital stores from 18th November so stay tuned for that for this is not one you wish to miss out on. Follow Jean M. Nelson everywhere so as to be part of this musical journey!
