US-based Tanzanian Afro-pop maestro King Jezaniah returns with an epic Amapiano-flavored jam titled “Delete ‘Em.”

As a triple threat, King Jezaniah is not just an artist; he is a dancer, songwriter, and most importantly, a performer, and in today’s artistic climate, it is extremely rare to find an artist who spans as many creative endeavors as he does. Currently based in the United States, Jezaniah has never forgotten his roots and heritage, which is evident in his impressive discography that spans universal anthems delivered in multiple languages, including Swahili, which is emblematic of his Tanzanian heritage. When it comes to his music, he allows each song to carve its own trajectory, as he does not believe in limitation when it comes to his creative expression. He refuses to believe that there are limits to what he can achieve because, when it comes to artistic freedom, music reigns supreme as the medium offering the most liberty for creative expression. His impressive catalog therefore straddles the realms of Bongo Flava, Afrobeats, Amapiano, R&B, hip-hop, and so many other authentic styles.

Jezaniah is back with an undeniable street anthem titled “Delete ‘Em.” If you are wondering what is being deleted, it is best to clarify early on that it addresses the disingenuous, envious, and malicious individuals in Jezaniah’s life. He is simply deleting them from his own existence, as captured in the memorable hook.

Set to a dazzling, high-powered, vivacious, and upbeat Amapiano beat with afro-pop sensibilities, Jezaniah’s velvety, auto-tuned, and immensely expressive vocals slide through the track as he revels in his own blissful creation.
The beat is groovy, and the lyrics are catchy—all essential ingredients for a powerful and unforgettable anthem that immediately captivates listeners. It is incredibly hard—close to impossible—to listen to this song and not feel the urge to sing along. From just one listen, you fall in love with it, and the more you play it, the more it grows on you and the better it feels…reverberating with such depth and authenticity!

And the deeply meaningful theme actually resonates on so many levels. This is a lyrical narrative so many can relate to because we have at some point in our lives (or are still experiencing) fake friendships, people who are always talking behind our backs, ‘friends’ and ‘colleagues’ who are always jealous of our successes, and people who would jump at the opportunity to ruin our lives at the slightest chance.

We all need to do away with them, and this anthemic banger is a timely reminder that this should happen sooner rather than later!
