The stage is set, and Kinsolo and his team are more than ready to astonish the music world with a new full-length album dubbed “Efiko” which has taken not less than four years to become what it is today. Such keen attention to detail, care, and competency went into this project, and Kinsolo couldn’t be more thankful for each and everyone who was involved in one way or another in making this fully-realized album.
And as someone who has been on an upward trajectory; honing his skills at every turn, this project is not expected to be any different; he comes harder with bangers that ooze charisma, raw talent, and critical acclaim!
While rooted in the African afrobeats genre, Kinsolo also blends hip hop, R&B, and pop for a project with crossover appeal. You will also notice how his vocals have matured and how his songwriting capability is at an unrivaled high.
A masterpiece like “CASH MONEY” is a seamless blend of the afrobeats with some UK-borrowed grime elements and the New York-inspired drill, with Kinsolo dancing over the beats like a professional kickboxer and unleashing some rhythmically mesmerizing flows!
“VAN DAMME” subtly takes a break from his signature afrobeats element with its captivating R&B and pop sensibilities before cleverly adapting an afrobeats-flavored choral arrangement.
A special shout-out goes to the producer Eli De Great, who lays down the ice for Kinsolo to skate on and indeed allows us to experience such an impressive body of work that is magical, authentic, unique, and impactful.
The strength of this album lies in its diversity, variety, and inclusivity, flanked by the impassioned performances from Kinsolo and his guest artists Deo Munyakazi, Peruzzi and Icah.
Come this Friday, April 14, 2023, and the spring and summer will belong to Kinsolo and his new groundbreaking album, “Efiko”
If you wish to be part of this ingenious musical journey, it is only right that you follow Kinsolo everywhere and prepare yourself to be thoroughly entertained and delightfully charmed!
