Savor in Jourdan Jade’s Cannabis Anthem “Light up That Weed” Featuring Nef the Pharaoh

Jourdan Jade is an independent female artist, singer, and songwriter who records in her Vallejo, California-based production studio. She is the real definition of a go-getter and her story underlines the message that the future holds promises of mysterious good. Anything can happen overnight and we just have to get out of our comfort zone and push ourselves to the limits! Starting out she had so many doubts about herself and the perception people would have about her music and she sometimes lets her mammoth ambitions and massive imaginations be abducted by the tiny cowards of “What if they don’t like my music”, “How will they feel about my new video” and such like doubts. But she eventually decided the dream was hers for the taking and from then on everything else didn’t matter; we are now talking about a female artist who has grown huge not only in Vallejo but on other surrounding continents as well, performing in numerous occasions and opening for big guns like E-40, Too $hort, Lil Xan, Jones, and many more. Her Spotify channel boats more than 750 monthly listeners with her singles “Like You Do” and “With Me” amassing thousands of streams!

“Light Up that Weed” is her 3rd single and she featured prominent lyricist Nef the Pharaoh together they made a jam off this phenomenal melody. Spotting its colorful and shimmering elegance, this track drips with a heavy and absorbing deep pop intro that takes a listener by surprise. The endearingly crafted blend of rhythm and melody is impeccably arranged with the tune taking the form of a brightly painted dance-pop with the bouncing drums, the swinging organs, and piano embellished with some steady bass rhythms forming a spicy element that dazzles from the start to the end!

Jourdan Jade takes on her moment with great artistic proficiency and excellence, her commanding voice brings the lyrics to life about having a great time as well as chasing your dreams. In one line she sings “Blow another wood

Run it up on another day,

Go hard for my goals

Keep it pushing keep it moving…” Nef the Pharaoh does exceptionally well to add that thrill of hip-hop with his trademark flows and keeps this track more entertaining and endearing.

Another fascinating detail is the way the percussive drills of the swinging touches engage with the vocals as they follow through and echo in that call and response glow that is nothing short of heartwarming. To get a taste of this enthralling tune, follow the attached link and make sure to keep an eye and ear out for Jade as she is set to debut her EP “Jaded” on her birthday which is on 28th April 2022!
