MC Tempo, a UK-based Christian rap artist, continues making a name for himself in the music industry.

With his unique blend of powerful lyrics and catchy beats, MC Tempo is making a statement as an artist who stands for something. MC Tempo, whose real name is Mark Edwards, was born in London. His parents were from Liverpool and Dublin respectively. They raised Mark in London for a number of years before relocating to Brighton. As a child, his mother would often play rhyming word games with him.

A friend introduced him to the world of rave music at a young age when MC Tempo first found himself stepping up onto microphones. MC Tempo was immediately drawn to the genre of EDM and began writing his own rhymes as a teenager.

But it wasn’t until MC Tempo found Christianity that his music began to take on a new meaning. He discovered that he could use his talent for rap to spread a positive message and inspire others to live a life of faith. He began performing at nightclubs, Christian events, and music festivals, and his music quickly gained a firm fan base.

Following tours in Europe and America, a 24-hour freestyle rap (back to back with Buzz from the Brighton based band Digitek), over 200 songs written and produced, MC Tempo has proven to be a major contributor to the UK music scene.

MC Tempo’s music is heavily influenced by his faith, but it also touches on a variety of other topics, such as social justice and personal struggles. He believes that music has the power to bring people together and create positive change in the world.

One of MC Tempo’s most popular songs is “Afterparty,” which was released in 2021. The song is a powerful anthem about returning to rave events in a post covid culture, whilst eluding to Heaven as the ultimate ‘Afterparty’. With its catchy beat and uplifting lyrics, “Afterparty” has become a fan favorite and has helped to solidify MC Tempo’s place in the drum and bass scene earning remixes from Jungle Cakes veteran Ed Solo and DJ SS of Formation records.

In addition to his music, MC Tempo is also known for his charitable work. He is involved with several organizations that focus on helping disadvantaged youth and promoting education. He believes that it is important to use his platform as an artist to make a positive impact on the world.

MC Tempo’s music is a testament to his talent and his commitment to spreading a positive message. As he continues to gain popularity, it is clear that he is an artist to watch in the coming years. With his unique blend of faith and rap, MC Tempo is inspiring a new generation of music fans to live a life of purpose and passion.
