R&B and pop queen Olivia returns with a super special jam, “Can’t Phase Me” featuring MesLoki

There are artists you listen to for the very first time and feel sad that you hadn’t discovered them earlier. This is the same feeling I got when I listened to Olivia’s music. Her music, on par with mainstream radio hits, showcases her unique talent. Her voice is captivating and distinctive, and her organic, raw storytelling style has continued to win her a wide following. Her music is self-aware, lush, and gutsy, and her range of emotions, unique perspectives, and glistering vocals are integral to what makes her so memorable. From their heartfelt ballads to her unadulterated pure upbeat pop bops, Olivia is an unmistakable powerhouse in the Bay Area music scene, determined to emerge as the unique voice of this generation.

She is back with an outstanding jam dubbed “Can’t Phase Me” that was inspired by heartbroken feelings she was grappling with at the time and decided to turn those raw emotions into these impeccable melodies with universal appeal.

The beat captivates within the first 10 seconds. The intro alone tells you you are listening to something special. It is beautifully haunting…incredible what they did with the sampler and drum machine here.

Olivia glides over the rhythm gently yet powerfully, breathing life with her harmonious vocals and getting at the heart of the song with her impeccable phrasing and emotive delivery that accentuates the weight of her words.

She showcases her versatility as a performer and storyteller. She makes her presence felt with her haunting vocals before the beat adds more depth and intensity around the 1-minute mark as the guest artist MesLoki joins in the mix, elevating the jam to a higher level.

Olivia continues riding the wave with MesLoki, later interjecting with his catchy phrases before that sick beat takes the track to a hypnotic climax!

“Can’t Phase Me” is an all-around stunner, and you deserve such a special banger as this.
