As a health practitioner, husband, father, and musician, Patrick found it challenging to balance these responsibilities, which is why he had to take a break from music to focus on his career, marriage, and fatherhood. Fast-forward to this year, when he decided to return to his first love in order to seek life’s meaning and help him navigate everyday chaos as well as his personal losses.
His yet-to-release EP, “Nostalgic for Now” is a 6-song collection that represents six chapters of his own life. There are tales of self-exploration, love, extreme tiredness as a result of his medical career, loss, and self-empowerment to give you that energy shot to keep moving.
Patrick proves to be a guitar wizard with his impeccable picking styles and stunning vocal prowess, which breathe life into these jams.
“Toaster Song” is the opener for this EP. The charming guitar tones set the tone, followed closely by the bass, drums, and Patrick’s sweet-sounding vocals. The lines “I don’t know where I’m going but I hope once I get there I’ll know” encapsulate the song’s mood.
“Forever Home” is another catchy tune and an ode to profound love and connection with a significant other.
