The music, the talent and the personality is what makes PIVE “Different”

After giving us three fire installments of “I Will Forever Be” album, Spokane, Washington-based rapper and artist PIVE undoubtedly cemented something long lasting in the hearts and minds of hip-hop and rap music fanatics. In an era where the authenticity of hip-hop music has been heavily questioned, PIVE prides itself on being different and original, as far as the word goes. His voice is unmistakable and so is his charisma. His music is a huge testament to the power of rap music to make a listener feel heard, and that is why I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this wizard to anyone who loves their music as authentic and with deep emotional appeal.

From the onset, the track “Different” speaks to the person that is PIVE; he pours his heart out in a poetic manner, capturing the essence of grappling with the idea of being unapologetically him in a society that is not very welcoming and judges at the least chance.

The lyrics unfold like chapters of a real-life scenario, very much diary-like, and what you would essentially capture in your journal as he inquisitively seeks to understand why he had to be treated differently growing up just because of who he was—something that he could not change well, because…it’s who he is!

The lyrics are poignant, and the beat is mellow with thoughtful keys and an infectious beat that serves as the ideal backdrop for PIVE’s spotlight-stealing vocal performance.

The floating lyrics elevate the track to new heights and allow the song to really resonate emotionally. This is incredible penmanship from an artist that I know takes his time to craft his music in order to communicate his feelings…and he does exactly that with this jam.

To everyone who has ever felt left out or like they didn’t belong somewhere, “Different” is the jam that speaks of your emotions as PIVE speaks on your behalf.

Check the link attached and let this jam be the soundtrack of your deep emotions!
