Up-and-coming Kentucky-based songstress Sarah Beth Brewer debuts with an absolute country charmer, “Let Us Be”

In the melting pot of both nostalgic and contemporary music, where genres intertwine and boundaries blur, emerges the incredibly gifted singer-songwriter who goes by the name Sarah Beth Brewer. Coming from the vibrant shores of western KY, she comes bearing a musical gift that she seeks to share with the rest of the world and hopefully take listeners on an enchanting ride whilst making them feel less alone in their experiences. She’s just at the inception of what she hopes will be a trailblazing musical career, and to get us off this sonic odyssey is a brilliantly catchy country-pop crossover debut single “Let Us Be” that hits all the right notes, capturing the essence of both worlds in a single track.

The striking acoustic guitar blends seamlessly with the bass and drums, creating this ear-worming foundation that is readily met by the mellow vocals of Sarah. For a keen listener, it does not take long for them to grasp that cowgirl demeanor in her rich and impressive vocals.

The lyrics are crystal clear, raw, and honest—capturing the all too familiar outside noise that is spiraling over into a relationship, breeding a little internal chaos. The memorably catchy and infectious chorus, “so let’s meet up at a hole in the wall, I can’t wait to hear them all, where rumors go to die in the middle of the night, let’s just end this back and forth fight, where rumors go to die in the middle of the night” encapsulates the track’s thematic essence and underscores the track’s anthemic allure, which means it will invitingly be playing over your head for the rest of the day.

Sometimes artists catch a break with their very debut single, and “Let Us Be” feels like the kind of jam with all the hallmarks of a viral sensation. It is obviously catchy and unforgettable, but it is not lacking in emotional depth, thus contributing to its resonance appeal.

Hearing it for the first time, it feels like something unheard of yet refreshingly familiar. And above all, it is the kind that promptly leaves a lasting impression.

Sarah’s “Let Us Be” is now available for streaming on popular platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, YouTube, and iHeart Radio. Check it out, stream it as many times as possible, and recommend it to a friend or stranger.
