Syren Gio should be the name you should be familiarizing yourself with as he means business and looking at his musical odyssey you see the signs of a victory – he started off by performing karaoke at bars while taking shots of tequila and vibing through the music nights like some musical boss and he always had big dreams of becoming a national singer, he just never knew he would actually pursue it and look at him now!
Syren Gio started off with writing poems as a kid at school and his creativity was fueled even more by art. And ever since he was gifted a whole new set of musical tools to make his personal studio, he has never looked back, starting off by experimenting and singing to other artists’ beats to finally being invested in himself and his art and starting to pursue his own musical journey and it was then that he released his debut EP dubbed ‘Inception” which consists of two brilliantly and authentically innovated tracks that are masterpieces in melodic transcendence “Do me right” and “Through the dark”. These two tracks were a huge success considering they were his entry point in the enigmatic musical world!
He is back like he never left with another special couple edition from his EP “Helios” which comprises of the tracks “Devil” and “Forever Love”. This is a titanic new release with stunningly contrasting tracks to give off new and invigorating ideas that give a listener that bit of cliff-hanging moment with the unpredictability and dynamism on display.
“Devil” has a haunting and deeply culminated rhythmicity that is driven by the sticking drums, the banging bass lines, and the trap-like melodicism that is calibrated by pop-like medley in the vocality and delivery to add more depth and color to it. In this track, he collaborated with the beat producer Mors and together they did an awesome job of keeping the listener on their toes and guessing which direction the track will take. What you are about to witness from this track is stellar and the sheer level of musicianship on exhibition from both camps is staggeringly revitalizing!
“Forever Love” speaks of some saving grace as a drowning love clutches at whatever it is to keep it afloat and there is some assurance that the fear should be eliminated for the savior is right there in the moment. This track is a modest laid-back sensual R&B groove that is backed by galvanized instruments such as the mellow bass lines, the rhythmic drums, and the candid beat synths that are honorable and allow the sensual and purely mellifluous male vocals of Syren Gio who fills this track with so many intriguing emotions. There are spine-tingling and goosebumps raising moments and that extra alluring touch of divinity that pulls a listener even closer and ties them by the heart!
