As his court date nears, indicted Colorado rapper and artist Tana 10 Birdz delivers a fire street anthem dubbed “FREE THE BIRDZ” featuring TTB Fredo and Chuck T Dope.

While Tana 10 Birdz had hoped to maybe release new music under happier circumstances, his newest anthem, befittingly themed “FREE THE BIRDZ” comes at a time he is preparing to face the court and most certainly serve his prison term after being indicted by the DEA for drug sales. And before you start judging, Tana 10 Birdz’s is now a changed man who has been using his prior experiences to shape the community around him, and especially the young men in the Eastside of Denver, Colorado. Apart from being a beast on the mic, he is a man with a mammoth heart, taking care of multiple families in the Denver area and looking after the homeless with the same love, affection, and devotion he looks after his 5 kids. A wise man is one who learns from his mistakes, no matter how bad they were, and for Tana 10 Birdz, he is taking this whole tumultuous experience as a learning curve to not only do better by him but also others around him. This makes him a societal mirror that others can see through…so props to him!

Back to the fiery anthem, “FREE THE BIRDZ” that he featured other Colorado emcees TTB Fredo and Chuck T Dope, it is the kind of song that embodies the star’s versatility, resilience, and innovation in modern hip-hop. Here, he showcases his impeccable knack for blending raw street narratives with infectious hooks, all while maintaining a strong presence throughout.

His cadence is instantly recognizable—laid-back yet commanding, with a distinct Southern drawl that feels effortless yet calculated. This personality is what allows him to seamlessly alternate between gritty, hard-hitting storytelling and an infectious, playful, and boastful charm that leaves a lasting impression.

Talking about calculation, Tana is calculated in his delivery, balancing the tension of what’s ahead of him with the resilience of a man who has changed his ways. The message here is that he has survived worse and is surely going to triumph over all these setbacks and adversities, using each experience as a fuel to reach and surpass greatness…and he will do it in his opps faces!

The guest emcees TTB and Chuck fit into this mix perfectly like a glove, complementing the jam with their memorable verses over the trap-fueled beat that has some striking hi-hats and booming basslines that drop like they are hot.

The accompanying music video is a visual treat with some quality scenes that work really well with the track’s energetic flows, heavy bars, and catchy hooks.

Check “FREE THE BIRDZ” below and let it be the latest anthemic addition to your playlist.
