Versatile musician theanyaaudette is back with her eagerly anticipated album “Burt Bacharach Re-Imagined”

There is no telling the lengths theanyaaudette can go in order to create something not just creative and imaginable, but also authentic and memorable. Her technical brilliance as an artist, producer, and director is equally matched by her unchecked passion, allowing her creative mind to roam and thrive in multiple settings. Having been born in a generation that valued the originality and emotional value of music, she equally gives us something close to that, if not that and more with her palpably nostalgic music that has been inspired by jazz reminiscence, nostalgic soul, and R&B, as well as the orchestral classic and opera with pop and dance varieties thrown in for great measure.

theanyaaudette’s newest album “Burt Bacharach Re-Imagined” is so much more than the seamlessly integrated tracks that flow into the next like an unending stream of water in a fall; it is a project that has been remade in the image and likeness of the iconic American composer, songwriter, and record producer who was otherwise regarded as one of the most important and influential figures of 20th century popular music—this is an indisputable statement to the artistic prowess theanyaaudette holds at her heart and her willingness to surrender her heart and soul for something unendingly perfect!

A music fan has been spoilt for choice as theanyaaudette immerses them in an oasis of inspiration and passion through striking scents of the beautiful soul and R&B, the signature mellow jazz, and the orchestral pop, with theanyaaudette’s soulful and mezzo soprano vocals capturing the essence of every story here.

One of the bona fide standouts from the project has to be that beautiful rendition of Patti LaBelle & Michael McDonald’s “On My Own” featuring Jarreau Williams. This cover is a perfect showcase of her artistry—a blend of respect for musical history with a forward looking approach.  Their performance respectfully maintains the classic’s core emotional depth while still allowing them to use their innovative freedom as trampoline to reach new enchanting grounds.

The introductory keys in the jam “Check Out Time” are a thing of impressive beauty backed by theanyaaudette’s delivery as she adopts a novel-like approach to storytelling, allowing a listener to resonate with each line and note as the alluring melodies haunt a listener way outside the song’s runtime…there is that accompanying rhythm that you will not miss and it will stay with you for the rest of the day. The song also has an orchestral feel that works well with its structure and execution.

With “Do You Know The Way To San Jose,” theanyaaudette’s knack for country’s storytelling shines through, and perhaps, she will effortlessly remind you of some good old days and memories lived as her smooth, soulful vocals with a mezzo range glide smoothly and emotively over the stunning jazz-influenced soundscape.

“Anyone Who Had A Heart—Dance Version” is a spectacular dance-peppered masterpiece with all the qualities of an electronic dance banger guaranteed to make you move with thoughtless abandon to its deep-driving melodies, haunting synths, luminous basslines, and a cornucopia of other electronic-flavored instruments.

Variety, authenticity, emotions, and some epic stories are what theanyaaudette offers throughout “Burt Bacharach Reimagined.”

Check this album out and relish theanyaaudette’s originality as well as passion, vulnerability, and strength surrendered.
