Atlanta-based artist Timothy Morris Lane is set to release his new heartfelt heartbreak ballad dubbed “Woulda Loved You Easily”

The dream for Cleveland-born, Atlanta-based singer-songwriter Timothy Morris Lane has always been to be so much more than just an R&B and soul artist; he aspires to be a cultural architect, reshaping the future of music while maintaining an intimate connection with his fans. He wants his artistry to be a huge testament to the power of evolution, experimentation, and staying true to one’s creative vision, making him a beacon for those who crave the future of R&B and soul in the present moment. Having studied language in college, he couldn’t be more excited to share with music fans multi-lingual music that will extend across cultures and traditions, bringing together music listeners in whichever language appeals to them.

Initially, “Woulda Loved You Easily” was meant to be a love song, but the girl he thought was going to be his forever love broke his heart and chose someone else. After getting to the studio and explaining the situation to his producer, they decided to change it and design it in the form of a heartbreak ballad. That’s how we find ourselves with this new heartfelt, profoundly poignant, and personal masterpiece that is scheduled for a January 24, 2025, debut release.

From the short sonic preview/teaser released, you can already tell this is an earnest release, a deeply personal and universally relatable masterpiece that starts so warmly with a mellow, guitar-laden foundation providing support for the soulfully rich, emotive, and heartfelt vocals of Timothy as he expresses his hurt feelings of falling in love with someone who had her eyes on another.

As you can guess, “Woulda Loved You Easily” is an emotional tidal wave, a powerful release of heartbreak and vulnerability that grips the heart from the very first note. As the song progresses, more depth is added with that haunting piano melody that blends gracefully with the striking guitar, providing a delightful backdrop for Timothy’s rich and resonant voice that cuts through the mellowness with a rawness that is impossible to ignore.

The chorus is easily quotable, underscoring the anthemic allure of this song as he invites you to sing along to the catchy and infectious words from his heart. And he doesn’t just sing—he communicates on a profoundly emotional level. The song is meant to become a mirror, reflecting back the listener’s own stories of heartbreak and the bittersweet beauty of looking back.

“Woulda Loved You Easily” is a masterclass in emotional storytelling, delivered with the kind of authenticity that makes it timeless. What a listener can expect when this jam officially releases is not just a song to listen to but one to feel, to live, and to heal with.

As a multilingual artist, Timothy will be releasing four versions of this jam—English, Spanish, French, and Japanese versions.
