The album consists of 12 songs, rich with charged lyrics and melodies, that capture the collective consciousness of the time. A vision of hope and perseverance also emphasizes it. Through it all, we persevere because we have that power and beast within us that begs to be unleashed in moments of great despair and defeat.
Through this work of art, Yolanda seeks to remind listeners that, even standing at the edge of the proverbial cliff, take comfort in knowing that you are not alone, because there is a world of people who are also sharing your experiences. Like you, they contemplate what it means to be human. For herself, you, and others like you, Yolanda dedicates this record.
