Osi Pavez the supreme leader of the metal band Ztate of Mind is quite the musical maverick!

Gabriel “Osi” Pavez’ story reads like a mini-film with blockbuster moments—his journey has been one of constant growth, evolution, and discovery. From Bolivia, Osi Pavez is a multi-gifted musician, producer, guitarist, composer, and performer. He is the founder of the progressive metal band Ztate of Mind who, under his guardianship, has revived the essence of metal rock music—blending the relentless energy, chaos, and rebellious spirit with accessible themes and restoring the lost glory of this genre that has existed since time immemorial.

Gabriel’s reach is expansive and transcends beyond his role in Ztate of Mind. He has also lent his expertise as a composer and producer to extensive metal bands in Bolivia, such as Turbion, Overcross, and many more. With each, he offers experience way beyond reach, transforming these bands’ material into something more globally worthy.

Continuing on his evolutionary odyssey, Osi Pavez has already started working with Christian Worship Music through his latest project dubbed “Bless The Waves” as he seamlessly intertwines the depth of his metal music with the reach, appeal, and attraction of Christian Worship Music.

To give you a taste of what Gabriel and his Ztate of Mind band are capable of is the jam “The Blackest Black”—a relentless, progressive, and captivating metal track that exposes the guitar virtuosity of Gabriel and the exemplary showmanship he has instilled in this band, leading them to create something so irresistibly fine you just don’t want it to end.

“The Blackest Black” is the lead single off of Ztate of Mind’s upcoming album, which will also be their last album.

As Osi Pavez looks into the next chapter of his artistic life, all he can see is a vision so bright it’s capable of blinding anyone within 100 yards of it. This is the story of a man who refuses to be cowed; his resilient spirit and relentless attitude are the guiding stars that illuminate his every step.

Follow Osi Pavez @osipavez to keep up with his mighty steps towards global eminence.
