Up-and-coming hip hop artist ZXTO delivers a sharp-witted fire performance in his new single, “NEW REVOLUTION.”

ZXTO’s life has always revolved around music, and it certainly helped that his own mother was also a rapper and musician who guided him in the right direction when he decided to pursue it professionally. Taking influence from diverse genres such as hip hop, R&B, rap, and rock, ZXTO’s passion was first sparked through listening to some of his favorite rappers on the radio. Since then, through a combination of grit, determination, and raw talent, ZXTO has been making music since he was 14 as he seeks to build one of the most impressive discographies in the rap genre.

As someone who is well-traveled, ZXTO fuses his worldly experience into punchy rap messages laid over unique and sometimes trippy hip-hop beats. His latest single, “NEW REVOLUTION” pays homage to Black History Month and all the revolutionary struggles that happened in Africa and other continents in the fight for freedom and independence from oppressive colonial rule.

“NEW REVOLUTION” is a certified hit with its catchy beats and captivating lyrics that see ZXTO jetski over the beats with his razor-sharp wordplay and hard-hitting punchlines. His smooth delivery and shapeshifting, combined with the sometimes soulful verses, make for a powerful and emotive listening experience.

The track’s production is a masterclass in contemporary hip hop, with its blend of trap, soul, and synth elements. The track has also been accompanied by a music video that was shot in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. Offering a visually stunning experience, this music video elevates the track to a whole new level and really fits in with the track’s narrative.

“NEW REVOLUTION” is a must-listen for any and all hip-hop music lovers; ZXTO really brought his A-game with some fiery verses over the bouncing beats flanked by that deeply meaningful theme at its heart.
