American band Big Sexy captures heartfelt reminiscence with their single “Say So.”

When it comes to the 2-piece band Big Sexy, it is always more about their music than themselves. Harnessing the power of music to resonate deeply, this band has been at the forefront of creating authentic music that is inspired by their life experiences and the daily happenings around them and their audience. The band’s knack for giving emotive life to their songs is what ultimately separates them from any other band in the picture. Their discography is a treasure trove of catchy and timeless music. Their debut album ‘River of Shame’ introduced them to an eager audience craving something authentic with emotional depth.

The gentle wail of the thoughtfully and tenderly struck guitar sets a mellifluent tone for Big Sexy’s ‘Say So.’ What follows is a warm, expressive male voice that breathes life into the heartfelt lyrics.

This guitar-laden foundation builds gradually before the bass and precise drums ease in, adding depth while maintaining the track’s melodious feel. The lead vocalist captures your ears and heart with his euphonious lead vocals, and the backing vocals create a subtle orchestra within this one track.

Around 3:20, you’ll be moved by the captivating guitar solo as Big Sexy showcases their guitar craftsmanship, elevating the song to new heights.

‘Say So’ follows the heartfelt story of a loving man reminiscing about the first night he met his wife. The chorus encapsulates the moment and wonders if things would have been different with the lines, ‘Could you go if I showed you my world?’

A catchy, mellow, and memorable tune with excellent execution, ‘Say So’ deserves a place in any radio playlist. It is a testament to Big Sexy’s talent and their relentless dedication to being at the heart of every song.

I hope you find solace in this jam. If you do, please add it to your playlist and share it with a friend or lover.
