Los Angeles’ finest R&B star Bunny Daniels once again cements her place as a hitmaker with the new profound, groovy, and infectious single “Mine”

Bunny Daniels, a superstar in the making, is exploring the story of contemporary womanhood through a personal lens and, each time, bringing visibility to the Black feminine experience, hoping that her platform can show other people like her that it is possible to succeed by being true to yourself. In my own eyes, her trailblazing artistry and rise is proof that Black women are commercially viable in an industry that has traditionally said otherwise. She continues coming back better with music that is oozing heartfelt emotions and raw talent, underscoring the necessity for authentic, intimate storytelling throughout California and to the world. She is like this bright and luminous spark of light in blinding darkness…she deserves all the love and acclaim she can get.

Daniels returns to the scene with another heartfelt and emotive masterpiece dubbed “Mine” that borrows from a personally relatable experience and intense emotions with unrequited love.

Showcasing such peerless showmanship, versatility, and range, she imbues this song with a highlight. So, instead of going the obvious poignant way, thanks to the emotional heaviness of the subject matter at hand, she adopts a defiant tone encapsulated by the lines, “I’m gonna make you mine” that convey a deep sense of unwillingness to give up on this unreciprocated love.

Benefitting from a high-quality production, Daniels makes the most of the bold, dreamy, harmonically rich, and highly sustained synth leads that seamlessly amalgamate with the haunting keys, the sharp, crisp snares, and rapid hi-hat rolls from 808s to endear herself to the listener with her bright, emotive, and radiant vocals that steal the spotlight as much as the affecting synths.

The striking blend of the synths, snares, keys, and percussion adds a sense of dimension, groove, and infectious energy to the song, helping elevate the feel and overall dynamic of the song as Daniel’s expressively powerful vocals top the performance off.

Bunny Daniels continues exceeding expectations and, indeed, amazing her loyal fans and new listeners alike with the levels she can go to create great music. Just when you thought she couldn’t possibly eclipse her last performance, she comes back with a performance like this that completely decimates any notion you had of her.

Already streaming on all major platforms, listen to “Mine” and let it boost your playlist for the foreseeable future.
