LA-based Chris Scott, Head of Production for Level Up Music Productions, Delivers “GYT” from ‘23rd & Delta’ – A Must-Listen for Hip Hop and R&B Fans

Born in Nashville but currently based in vibrant Los Angeles, Chris Scott’s journey has been a relentless exploration of musical creativity, which has led to a prolific artist who boasts such an impressive discography that continues to grow and evolve. It was the immersive embrace of DJing back in Nashville that ignited Chris’ creative spark. The early 2000s found him in the vibrant heart of the Nashville club scene, where he cut out his teeth as a DJ. This period was a crucible of creativity, where he forged connections with audiences and fellow artists, shaping his destiny as a sonic pioneer. After moving to LA in 2016, he continued honing his skills and expanding his creative horizons into production, engineering, and songwriting, all of which have now contributed to the wizard he is, growing at an alarming rate and giving listeners the music they want.

The airwaves currently belong to Chris and his new 7-track EP, “23rd & Delta.” The single “GYT (Grab Your Twin)” is one of the most successful tracks from the album, and for a good reason.

Grabbing your attention from the get-go, the hypnotic and smooth intro warms itself up to you, inviting you with a mellow sound that promises a good jam that you will find yourself playing on repeat numerous times.

It doesn’t take long before Chris jumps on the wave, riding the catchy beat with his fluid rap vocals, effortlessly melding with the rhythm. One thing about his lyrical performance is that he stretches the lines between rapping and singing, creating an effortless performance that improves with each listen.

I love how top-notch the production is, spanning old-school and contemporary to perfectly fit in both worlds as the captivating beat lays the perfect backdrop for Chris’ slinky vocals.

“GYT” stands as a sensational feel-good anthem, perfect for uplifting moments and intimate settings alike. The track has already amassed over 19K Spotify streams in a short time, the track’s popularity is on a rapid ascent.

A worthy addition to any rap and R&B playlist, check out the link below and enjoy this masterpiece.
