Mars Vein Drops New Single “BAJALO” from His Upcoming Album “GALANA URBANA I”

Mars Vein’s path as an artist started on the vibrant streets of Miami, where he got his start as a B-boy. That foundation in dance and movement is still at the heart of everything he does as a singer, rapper, songwriter, and performer. His music honors his Latin roots and stage background while also pushing into synth pop, dance, and now, urban Latin rap. He is a genuinely versatile creator, moving easily between English and Spanish, heartfelt ballads, and rap-driven high-energy club tracks. He makes music that connects with people, telling stories that get you thinking while creating a rhythm that makes you want to move.

Mars Vein is giving fans a taste of his next project, “GALANA URBANA I,” with the release of the album’s lead single, “BAJALO.” The upcoming urban Latin rap track is a straight-up club banger — a mix of trap and reggae, with an urban Latin rap edge, driven by heavy basslines, sharp hi-hats, and energetic percussion. Vibrant horn arrangements give the song a unique flavor, making it perfect for the club. Over three minutes, Mars Vein’s sleek vocals and agile rap cadences guide the track, which builds around the anthemic, chant-like repetition of the word “BAJALO,” meaning “bring it low.” The release has already sparked the MARS VEIN BAJALO Dance Challenge, with groups, duos, and dancers worldwide posting their routines across social platforms.

“BAJALO” serves as an introduction to Mars Vein’s new signature sound, which he calls Trap Reggae — his urban Latin rap–forward fusion. It’s a fresh, genre-bending style he developed while experimenting in the studio. The single is already building momentum and getting airplay in Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and on Miami’s Power96 FM.

Speaking about the upcoming album, Mars Vein shared:

“This album has 20 tracks and 5 interludes full of some mega hits. I wrote, produced, and mixed the entire project myself, with mastering by Nano Moreno. Music is my soul. I play over 20 instruments, but this gift comes from God. With GALANA URBANA, I wanted to create something truly unique for the Latin market. Commercial enough for radio, yet still groundbreaking in its style and sound. The journey starts with ‘BAJALO,’ and it only goes higher from here.”

“GALANA URBANA I” is scheduled to drop on September 7, 2025. The 20-track project promises to be a sonic journey that blends his Latin pop roots with a futuristic urban Latin rap/Trap Reggae sound he created. Mars is also building his brand around his love for sci-fi aesthetics, which helps him stand apart both visually and musically. This release marks an important new chapter in his evolution as an independent artist. He’s releasing the album on his own label, RCPMusic, which he named in dedication to his son. His dream is to grow the label into a home for other talented artists, pushing good music from around the world to new frequencies.
