Spanish music composer Russ Hewitt’s “Chasing Horizon” album embodies the essence of authentic eclectic instrumental artisanship!

Russ Hewitt was honored recently with three platinum LIT Talent Awards for “Best Instrumental Song” (Chasing Horizons)’ in which he featured Nuno Bettencourt, and was also named overall Category Winner of the Year. An additional five Gold Awards were also given to the other songs off of the “Chasing Horizons” album, and this just goes on to show you the level of artistic showmanship Hewitt is at that has allowed him to be a cultural force at every turn!

Russ Hewitt’s songs are authentic, organic, and display a musical sagacity rarely found in the music industry these days. For the time he has been in the music industry, he has always worked towards creating eclectic music that is instantly recognizable and supported by a plethora of signature sounds from Latin, jazz, Cuban, Brazilian, and Flamenco, ensuring that he breaks new ground with every step that he makes!

Russ Hewitt creates ambient classical guitar driven music. His dream has always been to tell his own stories without lyrics, and allow listeners to connect with the music on an emotional level. With a journey that just begin with a simple lobe for music, it has grown and evolved into something amazing that is sure to stand the test of time!

His new 10-piece album, “Chasing Horizons,” is eclectic instrumental music at its finest and immediately translates for any music-passionate listener around the globe. Every song here has a life of its own; the driving guitar rhythms and glorious traditional rhythms are all wrapped up in a gift that is a joy to receive.

I have been listening to the track “Vivir Libre” on repeat, and I can’t seem to get enough of it. This tune pins me to a place and time that triggers memories of me overlooking an indescribably beautiful ocean in Mexico, and these memories stay with me forever. I just love the seamless Latin-Cuban blend that is just immersive and makes you want to dance all over your house with music-inspired ecstasy plastered all over your face.

I really did wine and dine through some of my favorite tunes like, “Allende,” “Cubalia Café,” “Chasing Horizons,” and “Sunset Samba” as Russ Hewitt and his invited guest composers took me to the promised land of musical salvation in what was an unforgettable experience!

If you want to be transported towards the musical worlds within and the unfathomable depths of ecstasy as you live life to the fullest; follow the attached link to stream “Chasing Horizons” in its entirety and relish every second of it. It also wouldn’t hurt to recommend this masterpiece to a friend or stranger!
