Rvkah and Velvet Cash get real about desire in their moody synth pop track “Algorithm”

Clocking in at just under three minutes, “Algorithm” is a collaboration between singer Rvkah and producer Velvet Cash that digs deep. It’s a moody, seductive track that sticks with you from the first listen, mixing genuine artistry with a pop feel and sharp production.

With sultry vocals and cinematic synths, “Algorithm” has a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. The song is already connecting with listeners, quickly gaining over 3,000 streams on Spotify. It’s a track that captures a feeling.

“Algorithm” explores that intense, human need to be wanted and the sting of rejection. The song unfolds like a bittersweet confession, reminiscent of a page from Taylor Swift’s diary set to the soundtrack of a midnight drive through neon-lit streets.

Velvet Cash, an Arizona-based producer, builds a world of tension and precision. His smooth, emotive vocals slide over synth-heavy beats, creating a rhythm that pulses with a slow-burning desire.

Then, you hear Rvkah. The VH1-winning American/Israeli artist and Berklee graduate brings a hauntingly soulful delivery to her performance. Her voice is rich, deep, and emotionally honest, adding a layer of longing and heartbreak that lingers after the song ends.

Rvkah’s career began when she was just 12, and she’s since worked with Grammy-winning songwriter Charlie Midnight and landed a Top 40 hit. Velvet Cash brings his own impressive background as the Chief Executive Producer at The Saltmine Studios Oasis, a space where legends like DMX have recorded. Their combined experience explains why “Algorithm” feels so polished and intentional.

The song is all about that magnetic pull, the feeling of wanting something you might not be able to have. It seems Rvkah and Velvet Cash wanted to create something that felt like desire and heartbreak wrapped in velvet.

For anyone who loves emotionally intelligent, late-night music, “Algorithm” is a synth-pop gem worth discovering.

Stream “Algorithm” now on all major platforms.
