Norway-based artist Stale Jan’s newest release, “Timeless Mary (Play Your Part)” is worth a listen!

How have your friends challenged you this year? I remember one of my friends challenged me to drink a 250 ml Coca-Cola nonstop, which was nonsensical to say the least, and which I failed incredibly (could you do it?) Well, Oslo, Norway-based musician Stale Jan was also challenged by their friend to create a somewhat rock-fueled, high-energy masterpiece, and the result of that dare is this incredibly gratifying tune, “Timeless Mary (Paly Your Part).” It is a processed sound alright with striking guitar melodies that I feel are the soundscape’s backbone and the alluring vocals that are haunting and memorable.

For the most part, “Timeless Mary (Play Your Part),” feels very haunting. There is that electronic element to it and the backdrop is sufficiently laid for the crystal-clear vocals that breathe life in a really metaphorical manner, the magic of the delivery as enchanting as the mystery behind the words.

While Stale Jan may not have created this as highly energetic as their friend envisioned, there is still a palpable rock thrill to it that cannot be denied. the structure here leaves nothing to be desired, and in any case, this song has an irresistible allure that begs for a repetitive listening experience.

“Timeless Mary (Play Your Part)” already has over 7K Spotify streams, and this means that it has indeed found its favorite audience. It is one of those songs you are randomly recommended, and after listening, it really leaves a lasting impression.

If there was a song that makes you want to chill and listen to it, then it has to be this one. There is that vibe it gives off that makes you feel like chilling and enjoying it. I really appreciate those guitar melodies; they give the song a certain indescribably beautiful and melodious spark that makes you want to play the song again and again.

Challenge passed; “Timeless Mary (Play Your Part)” is what it thinks it is—a beautiful track with replay value.
