Steeped in modernity, drenched in emotion and pasted with passion; all these describe the musical sound of female artist Miserableisobel, a talented singer who is very passionate about mental health seeing that she too was a victim from as early as 12 years of age. Like the sound of hope, she seeks to remind everyone battling similar emotional and mental storms, that though it might not seem like it right now, every ending marks a new beginning and all we experience happens for a helpful reason. There is no shame in feeling vulnerable and susceptible to some of these challenges. When one door closes, another will always open for anyone. Trust always- that life has your back- even if what’s unfolding makes no sense. Miserableisobel is now 25 years old and was born in Leicester, UK. She is half Italian and half Scottish. Apart from writing music, she enjoys documenting her life through writings and she carries that deep hope that through her own openness and vulnerability in her music, she can impact those struggling with mental health to accept themselves as they are, come out and seek help.
“What If” is a steady and ceaseless emotion-filled tune that feels eternal and melodically rises up like smoke from a furnace, the melody giving all signs of imaginative creativity as Miserableisobel grabs her moment by the hand instantaneously, invoking all sorts of emotions from a listener through her lyrical truths and openness that otherwise feels like an open therapy session where a patient is encouraged not to leave anything out – the smallest of details can make a difference, right?
